What is earth observation and why should I care?

This webinar focused on demystifying earth observation and its capability within the built environment, and was supported by CIRIA Geospatial – our newest Community of Practice.

Working with earth observation data is no new concept to the built environment and construction industry, with great steps being made to enhance the use of data and solutions in recent decades. However, in an ever-developing digital environment, there is an opportunity to collaborate and educate industry at a base level – providing people with information to encourage the usage of earth observation data, giving confidence to first-time or infrequent users.

The presentations include demonstrative examples of connecting technology to sector challenges in the form of case studies.
